Behind The Scenes – Timelapse: Watch the magic unfold in this setup for a talking head interview, for @edgechurchem weekly news.
– A talking head interview is a style of video interview where the subject is filmed speaking directly into the camera. Typically the only part of their body that is visible on camera are their head and shoulders – hence the name.
They’re used in documentaries, news programs, corporate videos, and other types of video content where the focus is on the subject’s message, rather than their physical actions or surroundings. They are often filmed in a studio or other controlled environment, with the subject in front of a neutral background to minimise distractions. The interviewer, or off-camera director, may ask questions to guide the conversation but their voice is not typically heard in the final edit of the video.
